About Us
We are a family run Out of School Club providing wraparound childcare for children of Netley Marsh CofE Infant School and Bartley CofE Junior School.
IMPORTANT: Please note that as of September 2024 we will be based out of Netley Marsh CofE Infant School. We will be providing a transport service for Bartley students (subject to availability) at a nominal fee.
We began in 2011 and children who attended at that time chose the name ‘Playworld’.

Sarah Godfroy - Managing Director & Founder
Hi I’m Sarah, I have 30 years experience of working with children, from being a private children’s nanny, a childminder, a teaching assistant and Cover Supervisor in a local school.
I hold a CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Playwork; CACHE Level 2 certificate in Understanding Children and Young Peoples Mental Health; Designated Children’s Safeguarding Lead and a BA (Hons) Degree in Early Education.
I have a grown up daughter and adore all and any animals, supporting animal charities where I can. I have a particularly soft spot for Giraffes, Rabbits and of course my two beautiful cats! When not fussing over animals I enjoy the outdoors and love nothing more than walking in the forest or by the sea with my family and taking part in walking marathons for charity when possible. Another interest of mine is visiting places of national interest and learning about the history of them on my travels!
Our Mission Statement
We aim to provide high quality childcare within a warm and welcoming environment. The individuality of each child in our care will be respected and nurtured.
“Play is not a break from learning . it is endless, delightful, deep, engaging practical learning.”
— Vince Gowmon
